FuZe Lacrosse Club

Hi Coach,
Really wanted to thank you so much for an awesome spring season!  I don't know if you knew this, but before last year when _____ joined the FuZe family, he was ready to quit.  He had a pretty horrible previous lacrosse experience (as can happen in any sport).  ... it was a recipe for him to run in another direction. When ___ and I talked him into trying "one more season", you and your team turned his head.  CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH!

As for this year, he was truly back in love with the sport.  When you think of the life lessons he learned...inexplicable!  You are such a talented and passionate coach (not to mention father), we are lucky to have had the opportunity for _____ to learn as much as he did, and will continue to, learn from you!  You've assembled a great group of boys - all really good kids!  It'll be fun watching them in the next couple of years.

Hope you and your family enjoy the rest of the summer.

My son ... is on the White team. I wanted to send you a quick note and thank you for such a positive experience. The way you (all) have organized, run and led the tryouts and everything else has been terrific.  It is clear to me that you believe this is about building great lax players but also future great young men. ____ is a gentleman with tremendous class and ... all the college age coaches have really generated enthusiasm and been terrific role models for the boys. One of my favorite things is seeing the American flag on the back of their uniforms as they run down the field. It is the perfect size and a wonderful reminder for these kids what it's all about. Again-just wanted to say thanks and look forward to shaking your hand.

_____'s dad here.  I want to thank the coaches and Dr. _____ for both the initial reaction to and ongoing support for ____.  Thank goodness his injury wasn't more serious.  The positive element was that it gave us as parents a glimpse into the class you bring to the program.  I feel fortunate my boys are involved.

We couldn't be more grateful for the supportive, caring way the coaches and Dr. ____  reacted.

Coach ____,  I want to thank you again for allowing me to play for the FuZe this past fall. Since then, I’ve received numerous letters from D1, 2 and 3 schools. Every coach has remarked that he watched me play at either the UMD or UP Lax tournaments.

This summer I am planning to attend the Top 205 Rising Senior Camp and I’d also like to play for the FuZe. Please keep me in mind ...

I would like to take this opportunity to say a few positive things about the FuZe program after this past weekend.  Even though his team was less than enthusiastic in their playing and the scores reflected it, I do believe that ___ still learned from the whole experience and came out of it with a positive attitude.  That was due to several things, one was the great leadership he gets from Coach ___ and the other coaches, and also from being exposed to the teams that were at this tournament.  He was telling me about the things he learned from watching some of them play on the way home so I felt it was worth the time spent.  He came to the FuZe with some personal goals that I feel he is achieving and he is also having fun too, he has really enjoyed getting to know and learn from Coach ___ this summer so please continue to keep the younger coaches involved.

I've been meaning to pass along an observation from the couple of lax tourney's I've done so far this summer -- you guys at the FUZE are fielding some of the best-mannered , and highly-performing teams around.  I did the Father's Day gig over at Annapolis and the U-14 (I think that was the age group) team blew everyone off the field and had tremendous parental support.  I also heard reports of a similar occurrence down at the VMI tournament.

Nice job leaving your fingerprints on the landscape of lacrosse in Northern VA !

The FuZe experience has been extremely positive, and it was during one of the summer tournaments when the (College) coaches first saw ___.  They saw him play again at the tournament in Edgewater this Fall.  He had several other schools pursue him and he made one other trip down to (College).  However, I believe ___ knew from the beginning that (College) was his choice.  He met the team on a visit there this Fall, too.  Like I said, it was a great experience for us all.  You all do a great job building a team out of such a diverse group of kids.  Thanks again, and best regards.

The FuZe organization had a very large impact on my lacrosse career, playing that first fall in the Battle of the Beltways showed me what playing really good lacrosse feels like.  It showed me that I could compete on a national level.  Thanks again for everything you have done, being a part of the FuZe organization was both fun and fantastic for my lacrosse career.

___ is thrilled to be playing with highly skilled teammates on a team such as FuZe.  The three tournaments entered by FuZe (Gold) this summer offered a good mix of competition for the players.  Each of the first two tournaments provided the team with wins against quality teams while the third one allowed the players to measure up - at a higher level - against some of the best teams in the country.  Any competitive player would want to see how he compares to the best.

Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful opportunity ___ had this summer.  You have done an unbelievable job with the FuZe organization!  ___ had a great experience with the Gold team and learned so much.  Most importantly, he has decided that he does want to try to pursue lacrosse in college - he has a lot of work ahead of him to achieve this goal, but we will work with him to the best of our ability to try to make it happen.  I think that says a lot for the FuZe organization - as you know, (HS Name) has not had the best of luck with coaches and this has been the first opportunity ___ has had to work with coaches at this level.  Coach ___, ___, and ___ as well as all the others who helped out at practice and games, taught these boys so much!  Thanks for picking such good coaches to work with our sons.

Thank you for the nice email. I am playing fall lacrosse  for ___ and I will continue to practice on my stick skills and my left hand throwing and catching.  I had a lot of fun trying out for FuZe and I will come back and try out next year.  The things I learned in FuZe will definitely help me today and tomorrow in my playoff games.
